Saykwayee H. Henry is a child right advocate, she is the founder and CEO of the Kids Development Initiative (KDI)

Kids Development Initiatives - KDI was established in 2017 by a young enterprising Liberian Saykwayee H. Henry. Since our Establishment, we have initiated programs aimed at helping vulnerable children between the ages of 7 and 15 acquire requisite leadership knowledge and skills for their personal growth and the benefit of the community. We believe that when children grow up in an enabling environment that provides them the opportunity to learn from early stages of their development (Morally, Physically, Intellectually and socially) they have a greater chance to reach their full potential and be successful adults.

Since our establishment as an institution, we have been actively engaged with children in Margibi County and beyond ensuring that their rights are protected and promoted. We have made series of donations (school and sanitary Materials) to kids in schools and health facilities. Currently have 32 kids who are undergoing a rigorous training in our institution. Besides, we have a mentorship program that connects Kids to experience and achieved young people who are serving as mentors. This mentorship program has proven to be very resourceful and impactful as we have successfully mentored up more than Seven (7) children who were involve into drugs, smoking, and alcoholic. Today they are all campaigners against those wrongs which they once practice. We believe we can achieve more when we are given the needed support is given.
