Kate Hunder is the Founder and Executive Director of the Girls Tech Club- Liberia. She is specializing in software engineering.
The birth of this organization is an initiative by an aspiring young technologist who is a third year student at the BlueCrest University College-Liberia
Girls Tech Club is a non-for-profit organization established in Liberia with the aim of encouraging, inspiring, mentoring and equipping girls with technological skills and resources. Girls Tech Club was founded more out of necessity than passion. But going further the passion to do more was conceived by the founder and her team.
Since March 2019, Girls Tech Club has engaged in many life changing activities for its members; the greatest so far was the Orange-Liberia and iCampus Hackathon on women empowerment using technology. Where these girls served as tech advisors to the teams and every member was either part of the first, second or third winners.
Having realized that we could do more with human than money, Girls Tech Club has planned a friendraiser on the 23 August, 2018. Hoping to gather friends and well wishers from several other field of studies.
